The Director

Chrissey Morton's initial - almost accidental - involvement as a theatre parent and set painter has led to an immersive experience with every facet of ACT for more than a decade. Projects of note include Beauty and the Beast and Hunchback of Notre Dame (Visual Art Director), Addams Family, the Musical (Stage Manager), and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Director). Chrissey served on the Board of Directors for 6 years, four of which she served as Secretary. She has had the privilege of being directed by some of Aiken's favorites - Peg Tribert (It's a Wonderful Life, Violet), Dustin Turner (Blood Money, Liz), Bob Franklin (The Great Kooshog Lake Hollis McCauley Fishing Derby, Rhonda), and Pat Williams (The Ladies Foursome, Dory).

In real life, Chrissey is the daughter of Richard Morton, mother to grown-up kids Blair and Grace Sims, and a salesperson to some of the CSRA's best restaurants. She resides in Aiken with her BFF/BF, Kyle Seconi, and (for some reason) two ferrets, Nairobi and F. Idgit.
