Audition Workshop
In preparation for upcoming auditions for the ACT Youth Wing production of “Carrie: The Musical”, ACT Youth Wing will be hosting the folllwing musical workshops for 8 – 12 graders:
- Saturday, September 26, 9am – 11am at Aiken Communtiy Theatre in the Black Box.
- Saturday, October 10th at the monthly Youth Wing workshop during the Dean/Cole time(1pm – 3pm). 8th graders are invited to attend this workshop.

AUDITIONS: The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge

Who: YOU! No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm, your sense of humor, and a willingness to have some fun on stage! In this holiday comedy that takes place one year after A Christmas Carol, Ebenezer Scrooge has reverted to his miserly ways and is suing Jacob Marley and the three ghosts of Christmas – Past, Present and Future – for charges including breaking and entering, kidnapping, and emotional distress. Come audition for this hilarious, irreverent follow-up to A Christmas Carol and help us put Ebenezer Scrooge—and Christmas—on trial!Main Stage

Established in 1952, Aiken Community Playhouse was formed by a small group of community members with a common goal of providing entertainment for Aiken residents. Since then, the theatre relocated to a beautiful new facility, strengthened and expanded youth and educational programs, moved into a year-round entertainment production schedule, and rebranded as Aiken Community Theatre. ACT is a vital and ever-expanding hub of the arts in our community.
Over the years, many community members have found fulfillment and meaning by supporting the arts through the gift of their time and talents at the theatre. ACT continues to provide an outstanding experience not only to audiences but to every volunteer, cast, and crew member.
